CM&B partnered with Lidl US to deliver a 30,000-SF urban grocery store in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, transforming a former Raymour & Flanigan showroom into a two-level food destination. With a first-floor bakery and floral department leading to a full supermarket on the second floor, the project reimagines the grocery experience for NYC shoppers.

Building within a century-old structure on a bustling pedestrian corridor required careful planning, creative problem-solving, and coordination with city and transit agencies. From environmental protections to traffic and transit approvals, the team navigated the complexities of an active urban site to bring Lidl’s sixth New York store to life on schedule and within budget.
