CM&B completed the first New York City location for Activate Games, delivering a 14,000-SF fit-out that transformed an existing retail space into an immersive, technology-driven entertainment venue in the heart of Union Square.

The project included the construction of a new street-level entrance, elevator, and stair connecting guests to the second-floor gaming facility, along with 13 interactive game rooms and a highly detailed interior finish package. Working closely with Activate Games, Gensler, and the landlord, CM&B coordinated the integration of architectural, MEP, and specialty systems to bring the experience to life while navigating the complexities of building within an existing Manhattan property.
