CM&B Newsroom
Stories about people.
Our Story
CM&B was founded on the fundamental principle that a talented and dedicated group of people with a common set of values and commitment to work as a team would be successful. Over three decades later, this business model based on people working together and being inspired to reach their full potential has become the lifeblood of CM&B. Along with the next generation of leaders, the original team is still together and committed to the concept set in motion on day one. Our success points first and foremost to one thing: our people. CM&B has always been and will continue to be in the business of People. Building.
Making History in Manhattan: CM&B Completes Construction on First Whole Foods Market Daily Shop
Whole Foods Market continues to innovate the food shopping experience with the grand opening of their inaugural Daily Shop at 1175 Third Avenue on the Upper East Side. Roughly a quarter of the size of a typical Whole Foods Market, the new small-format store spans 9,101 square feet. This opportunity, allowed the team at CM&B to showcase our expertise in both food store construction and building in an urban environment.

Meet our People: Caleb Peterson
What has been your greatest accomplishment since starting at CM&B? My greatest accomplishment since starting CM&B has been my promotion to project manager. As someone who wants to hold the reins, I’ve always gravitated toward leadership roles. Before starting with CM&B as an assistant superintendent,
Safety isn’t expensive; it’s priceless.
The Robert Harrison Safety Award is issued quarterly, spotlighting our field staff who go above and beyond in their efforts to address site safety. These individuals have consistently displayed outstanding safety, health performance, and dedication to their projects. CM&B is committed to safety and recognizing those superintendents
