CM&B completed a 13,000+ SF, two-level luxury restaurant build-out for Moxies at the base of the Ora Seaport tower, converting an unfinished retail shell into a high-energy, waterfront dining environment. Delivered in the heart of Boston’s Seaport, this two-level, 400-seat restaurant was built within one of the city’s most congested waterfront corridors—where logistics, timing, and precision were critical to keeping the project moving.

Construction Complexities

Two-level restaurant build-out integrating kitchens, bars, and dining spaces, requiring coordinated vertical MEP distribution, exhaust systems, and grease management

Construction of a grand interconnecting staircase serving as a central architectural feature and structural focal point

Installation of high-end finishes including marble, custom millwork, mirrors, specialty wall treatments, and large-scale decorative lighting

Tight coordination between framing, finish trades, glazing, and lighting to achieve high-design detailing and tolerances

Complex logistics within Boston’s Seaport District, including material deliveries, staging, and coordination within an active mixed-use waterfront environment

Accelerated construction schedule requiring close collaboration with ownership, design teams, and tenant representatives to achieve on-time delivery
