L.L.Bean – Sarasota

CM&B delivered a 16,500-SF adaptive reuse retail build-out for L.L.Bean’s first location in the state of Florida, transforming a former big-box shell at University Town Center into a fully branded specialty retail environment.

The project required a comprehensive interior fit-out, including selective demolition, new partitions and ceilings, specialty lighting, finishes, custom millwork, and installation of L.L.Bean’s proprietary fixture and merchandising systems. Exterior work introduced branded façade signage and signature kayak display elements, reinforcing the retailer’s outdoor identity within a high-profile shopping destination.

Completed on an accelerated schedule, the project reflects CM&B’s continued partnership with L.L.Bean and our ability to translate their experiential retail standards into new markets with precision and consistency.
