Tim Puopolo Named President of CM&B
Construction Management and Builders, Inc. (CM&B), the family-owned construction firm founded in 1992 by Kevin G. Puopolo, today announced the appointment of Tim Puopolo as President, marking a significant leadership milestone and the second generation of the Puopolo family’s stewardship of the company.

Known for his integrity, strong work ethic, and competitive drive, Tim has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to CM&B’s culture, clients, and teams throughout his career.

Tim joined CM&B in 2010 as an Assistant Project Manager after beginning his career by fulfilling a lifelong dream in a Personnel role with a major National Football League team. Since then, he has advanced through CM&B in progressively senior roles, building a well-rounded foundation through hands-on experience across every major department, including Field Operations, Estimating, Project Management, and Sales.
Early in his tenure, Tim spent four years working in Northern California supporting a major CM&B client partner, where he deepened his construction management expertise under the guidance of one of the firm’s seasoned mentors—a formative experience that helped shape his leadership approach and technical skill set.
Throughout his career, he has developed broad expertise serving clients across all of CM&B’s core market sectors, with particular depth in the grocery and automotive industries. His leadership on complex, multi-site projects reflects both the strength of CM&B’s construction management capabilities and the trusted relationships Tim has helped build nationwide.
As part of the leadership transition, Kevin Puopolo will step back from day-to-day leadership and continue to serve as Founder and CEO in a limited capacity, joining the Legacy Advisory Board to help guide the company’s long-term vision and governance. Sean Fahy, who has served with distinction as President, will join him as a member of the Legacy Advisory Board, supporting continuity, governance, and the culture of operational excellence that defines CM&B.
