Driving Forward: CM&B’s Automotive Expertise Expands with Herb Chambers and Asbury Automotive Group

For decades, CM&B has been trusted to bring some of the most recognizable automotive brands to life across the Northeast. Our partnership with The Herb Chambers Companies — now proudly part of Asbury Automotive Group — is a cornerstone of that story. Together, we’ve delivered nearly two dozen projects that push the boundaries of design, logistics, and execution, proving time and again that exceptional results come from exceptional relationships.

Three Game-Changing Projects in Motion

Setting New Standards in Boston
CM&B is bringing to life a groundbreaking 90,000-SF Porsche dealership that will feature the state’s first Gen 5 Porsche image program. This $32 million project pushes boundaries at every turn — from navigating tight site logistics while maintaining operations at adjacent dealerships to implementing design standards that will redefine luxury automotive retail in Massachusetts. With completion targeted for March 2027, this dealership is poised to set a new benchmark for Porsche facilities in the region.

Ultra-Luxury Redefined in Wayland
In Wayland, MA, we are transforming the definition of ultra-luxury automotive retail with a phased renovation and expansion that brings Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo together under one roof. The project includes a 17,800-SF two-story addition to the existing 25,000-SF dealership and a state-of-the-art Service Drive designed to meet the exacting standards of these prestigious brands. Scheduled for completion in August 2026, the result will be an automotive destination unlike any other.

Innovation Meets Community in Medford
At 400 Mystic Avenue in Medford, MA, CM&B is constructing a striking three-story Toyota dealership, seamlessly integrated with the site’s existing five-story tower. This $30 million redevelopment represents both a significant investment in the community and a showcase of innovative architectural problem-solving. Expected to complete in April 2026, the project demonstrates how thoughtful design can maximize space while honoring existing infrastructure.

The Road Ahead
These three concurrent projects exemplify CM&B’s People.Building. philosophy in action: relationships at the core, excellence in execution, and trust built project after project. Each represents a unique set of challenges that our team is meeting with creativity, precision, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

As our journey with Herb Chambers continues under the Asbury Automotive umbrella, we’re not just building for today — we’re shaping the future of automotive retail. With decades of partnership behind us and exciting projects ahead, the road forward promises many more miles — and milestones — together.
