Meet our People: Greg Bongo

Greg Bongo, Senior Project Manager at Blue Ribbon Group’s third restaurant in the Fenway.

What has been your greatest accomplishment since starting at CM&B?

I think of this as cumulative, not singular. The caliber of work CM&B engages in and its consistency repeatedly leads to interesting and challenging opportunities. Being afforded the opportunity, putting in the time and effort, and earning the respect of some of the top clients and colleagues in the industry has been extremely rewarding.

Who has been influential in your career and growth?

I have been fortunate to have a series of people in my career who have given me the space to work things out but remained close enough to provide advice and support when needed. I have done my best learning and growing when working through problems independently with reliable and knowledgeable resources. The depth of knowledge, the open-door culture, and the consistent opportunities at CM&B have steadily driven my career, and I anticipate it will continue to do so.

As a Senior Project Manager, what advice would you give a new project manager starting off?

Think critically, stay consistent, and keep perspective.

What are you most looking forward to in 2023?

Warm weather, spending time with my wife and daughter, and camping with my family and friends.
