Lakeway Commons – Shrewsbury, MA

CM&B is proud to announce the opening of the new Lakeway Commons Shopping Center in Shrewsbury, MA. This 375,000-SF development is part of a 23-acre mixed-use development located on the former site of Spags and Building 19, a cherished and now defunct local discount store. The retail center was designed to create the feeling of a village center with six buildings of varying scale, materials and massing. The scope of work included the demolition of 19 existing structures, the relocation of all utilities running through the site and site-work to create a pad ready condition for 250 residential apartments and 14 residential townhomes. The retail center is now anchored by a 50,000 SF Whole Foods Market with a wide range of options for shopping, dining and entertainment.
