Client Spotlight: Endicott College

Building For A Bright Future

In 2022, Endicott College hired CM&B for our expertise in academic construction services to help them implement a part of their strategic vision centered around three key pillars: Strength of Story, Power of Place, and Transformational Learning. The CM&B team recently completed Endicott College’s newly constructed Venuti Hall celebrating our third project with this stunning, seaside private institution located in Beverly, MA.

Venuti Residence Hall

if you build it, they will nest

Our journey began with the demolition of the beloved “Mods,” paving the way for “The Village,” a new 4-story, 175-bed residence hall. This innovative space is not just a place to live; it’s a hub designed to enhance student life. Complete with grab-and-go dining options and ample common areas, The Village will serve as a dynamic environment where students can seamlessly integrate learning into their daily lives.

  • The new residence hall is 58,000-SF spread over 4-stories, with apartment-style living in approximately 30 suites and 180 beds,  on the site of the old “Modulars” on campus
  • The building was constructed of concrete blocks and planks with masonry facades, ensuring a structure that will stand the test of time

Football/Lacrosse Locker Room

clear eyes. full hearts. go gulls!

Regardless of the sport you’re passionate about, the locker room serves as a sanctuary for learning and motivation. The team at CM&B had the opportunity to work on a quick turnaround locker room renovation for the Gull’s nationally ranked football and lacrosse programs.

  • Fast-track renovation project that was required to be open for Football Season
  • Renovation of the existing Locker Room received new flooring, lockers, lighting, and interior finishes
  • This was our second project with Endicott and our first “Summer Slammer” with them

laying the foundation to inspire

Endicott College believes in building a brighter future and continues to invest in campus expansion initiatives to achieve the academic, residential, and student-centric goals of the College.

  • This academic construction services project involved renovating Endicott’s former Nursing Building, converting classrooms into office spaces for the college’s administrative functions
  • This partially occupied renovation maintained student access to the Dance Facility while adding a new entrance, lobby, and walking path for visitors
  • Key updates include new flooring, paint, MEP systems, ductwork, plumbing, lighting, and an asphalt entry ramp
