Village Volvo - Boston, MA

Village Volvo

The building was built in 1926 and was formerly a tractor factory. Complete demolition of the ground level connector building between 61 N. Beacon Street and 65 N. Beacon Street will take place as well as renovation of all five floors, including hazardous materials abatement of all floors and roof. The first three floors will be Village Volvo, with a section of the first floor allotted for a future retail tenant and the top 2 floors will also be future tenant space. The project also includes new utility services brought in from the street, new freight and passenger elevators, site drainage systems and retaining wall. We will also be removing an old passenger elevator exterior hoist way.

Lakeway Commons
Shrewsbury, MA

Lakeway Commons is part of a 23-acre mixed-use development located on the former site of Spags & Building 19, a cherished and now defunct local discount store. Scope of work includes site-work to create a pad ready condition for 250 apartments and 14 town homes on the site, demolition of 19 existing structures and their associated hardscapes, and the relocation of all utilities running through the site. Lakeway Commons has been designed to create the feeling of a village center with six buildings of varying scale, materials and massing. Anchored by a 50,000 sf Whole Foods market, this mixed-use lifestyle center will offer a wide range of options for shopping, dining and entertainment. This 375.000 sf development with include 100,800 sf of retain space upon completion.

Cranberry Crescent
Plymouth, MA

This project consists of 3 new ground up highly finished retail buildings with a total of 20,000-SF. All the buildings will have traditional Cape Cod exterior siding materials and attractive roof lines.

Chappaqua Crossing
Chappaqua, NY

Complete redevelopment of the 120 acre former Reader's Digest headquarters property to include 120,000 sf of ground-up retail space including a new 40,000 sf Whole Foods Market, a 40,000 sf Lifetime Fitness Center, five restaurants, as well as a selection of shops that will complement the convenience and ambiance of the setting. The planned community will also offer flexible office and medical space and will feature a luxury townhome development, as well as affordable housing. Site improvements will include a substantial subsurface drainage system, expanded parking areas and traffic infrastructure improvements.


Garden City Shopping Plaza
Cranston, RI

Renovation and subdivision of an existing 28,000 sf retail building into three tenant shell spaces to accommodate new tenants. Scope of work includes new exterior façade and associated site improvements.

Atlantic Toyota
Lynn, MA

This 25,000-SF project will include the Toyota portal image element and ACM cladding of the entire front of the dealership.

DCH Auto Group
Freehold, NJ

Providing pre-construction services for a dual brand building renovation and addition. The project will entail renovating an existing Nissan service building to create a full service (Sales, Service, Parts) Nissan Dealership. The former Nissan sales building will be renovated for their new VW brand. Both projects are on the same site on Route 9 in Freehold, NJ.

Tarbox Hyundai
Kingstown, RI

This will be the second Hyundai building in this region to be built with the new manufacturers design standards. A 26,115 sf, ground up project which includes14 service bays, 3 wash & reconditioning bays and a drive-thru service reception. This will be cm&b's first project with Tarbox.

Wegmans
Natick, MA

Complete renovation of the former JC Penney at the Natick Mall to a new Wegmans currently in progress. We have been on location for the past 12 months providing pre-construction and Phase 1 interior demolition services. This 120,000 sf flagship store will be the first multi-level store within a major mall for Wegmans.

Whole Foods
Sudbury, MA

New fit-up of a Whole Foods Market in an existing 45,000 sf retail shell building.

Star Market
Brighton, MA

The interior renovation of this Star Market is currently underway and will include a new Starbucks, new floral department, and an expanded produce department as well as updated interior finishes.

This new 1,500 sf interior fit-up for a new Mexican Restaurant at Assembly Row in Somerville.

This new 2,500 sf interior fit-up for a new authentic Greek Restaurant at Assembly Row in Somerville.

Martina Restaurant
New York, NY

This new 2,250 sf fit-up is a spin-off of the restaurants Marta and Maialino. Located in the East Village at 55 Third Avenue, Martina will include outdoor seating.

New 4,000 sf Shake Shack fit-up is in an existing restaurant space on the Barnard College Campus in New York.

Hilton Hotel
Woburn, MA

We will be embarking on a significant revitalization of 50,000 sf of space. The project will include a Celebrity Chef Kitchen, new Hotel Lobby, Restaurant, Bar, Offices, Banquet Rooms and Main Ballroom. A glass wall will lead out to the exterior patio space where new landscaping and site work will take place.


Office/Industrial

152 Grove Street
Waltham, MA

Phased interior and exterior demolition and abatement of an existing manufacturing including complete takedown of multiple small buildings/structures located on the site to accommodate new construction which will result in 130,000 sf of office space. Scope of work includes new landscape and hardscape, underground utilities, grading, paving, and new parking layout. The new façade design respects the building's history while enhancing the window sizes and creating jewel box curtain wall entry points. cm&b worked with the client during the pre-construction phase on conceptual design reviews and site permitting.

Boston Scientific
Marlborough, MA

The office fit-up is an occupied renovation that required Boston Scientific to operate in the second half of the space while cm&b built out the 26,000 sf section. The office space is a new prototype work space for Boston Scientific. It is being set up as a collaborative work environment designed to build collaboration and teamwork. A fast track project for the team it was designed in 3 weeks and space was built in 8.

Boston Freightliner
Everett, MA

Project will involve road and utility construction, site-work, as well as a new 28,800-sf Truck Service Facility. Urban site with soil management plan, new utilities include electric, gas water, sewer, drainage and roadway/site lighting. Precast concrete piles/structural slab foundation system and pre-engineered metal building shell with mezzanine.
