The building was built in 1926 and was formerly a tractor factory. Complete demolition of the ground level connector building between 61 N. Beacon Street and 65 N. Beacon Street will take place as well as renovation of all five floors, including hazardous materials abatement of all floors and roof. The first three floors will be Village Volvo, with a section of the first floor allotted for a future retail tenant and the top 2 floors will also be future tenant space. The project also includes new utility services brought in from the street, new freight and passenger elevators, site drainage systems and retaining wall. We will also be removing an old passenger elevator exterior hoist way.
Lakeway Commons is part of a 23-acre mixed-use development located on the former site of Spags & Building 19, a cherished and now defunct local discount store. The project will entail renovating an existing Nissan service building to create a full service (Sales, Service, Parts) Nissan Dealership. The former Nissan sales building will be renovated for their new VW brand. Both projects are on the same site on Route 9 in Freehold, NJ.
Complete renovation of the former JC Penney at the Natick Mall to a new Wegmans currently in progress. We have been on location for the past 12 months providing pre-construction and Phase 1 interior demolition services. This 120,000 sf flagship store will be the first multi-level store within a major mall for Wegmans.

A 37,819 sf interior office fit-up includes glass office partitions and wood flooring throughout. New building mechanical and electrical upgrades as well as a new cafe in a shared space.

Phased interior and exterior demolition and abatement of an existing manufacturing including complete takedown of multiple small buildings/structures located on the site to accommodate new construction which will result in 130,000 sf of office space. Scope of work includes new landscape and hardscape, underground utilities, grading, paving, and new parking layout. The new façade design respects the building's history while enhancing the window sizes and creating jewel box curtain wall entry points. cm&b worked with the client during the pre-construction phase on conceptual design reviews and site permitting.
